Domaine d’Intérêt Majeur (DIM) BioConvergence pour la Santé - Call 2023 - equipment

BioConvergence pour la Santé (BioConvS) is a “Domaine d'Intérêt Majeur” (DIM) initiative from the Région Ile-de-France which aims to structure the synthetic biology, biotherapy and bioproduction communities, to guide the transition from scientific excellence to innovation, and to position Île-de-France region as an international reference in the domain.

BioConvS is led by Université Paris Cité in partnership with Sorbonne University, Curie Institute - PSL, Micalis Institute (INRAe, AgroParisTech, Saclay University), INSERM, Généthon, Génopole and others. BioConvS groups actors from the public and private sectors and benefits from 12.5M€ support from the Ile de France Region. More details about DIM BioConvS on: https://bioconvs.org/

About the call

This first AAP equipment of the DIM BioconvS devotes a total budget of 550 k€ to finance small and medium equipment. The equipment will be financed by the Île-de-France Region with a maximum intervention rate of 66% of expenditure excluding tax. A co-funding of 34% must therefore be justified in the funding request.
You can submit a single application per principal investigator for the funding of small equipment (grant amount ranging from €5k to €25k) or medium-sized equipment (grant amount ranging from €25k to €100k maximum) . The AAP EQUIPEMENT 2023 will thus be able to subsidize at least 3 projects for the medium equipment category and 8 projects for the small equipment category.
The amount of the subsidy decided by the DIM is a maximum amount: actual expenses (on presentation of invoices) are subsidized up to the intervention rate up to the total amount of the subsidy. For example, if the actual expenditure presented for a small item of equipment is €37,879 excluding tax with an intervention rate of 66%, the amount of the subsidy will be €25,000.

The deadline to submit a projet is May 31st 2023, at 23h59.
